My name is Grayson Henley, owner of Sanctuary Garden Builders LLC, and licensed landscape contractor. When I was young, I spent all my time outside in my parents garden. While attending UNC Charlotte for a BS in Pre-Medical biology, I started working for the university botanical gardens part time between lectures. After graduating, I was referred to work for a landscape installation company under the ownership of garden designer Jay Sifford until I got to where I am today.

My wife and I with our little maltipoo live on a rural property in mint hill. She and I met in middle school and have been together for over a decade. We both grew up in the charlotte area and know the environment very well, and being here for so long really helps us see what kind of plants do well in the local land. It is becoming increasingly rare finding someone native to Charlotte.
